Newborn Puppies Found in Trash Can in South Milwaukee

Three newborn puppies were found in a trash can in South Milwaukee around the 1300 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission.

MADACC put them into immediate foster care to try to save them, as they need round the clock care.

"These puppies were lucky to have been found, but many situations like these are never even noticed and do not end with a rescue. Situations like these are also totally preventable. Please think about spaying or neutering your animal if you are not prepared to deal with an unwanted litter," said MADACC in a post on its' Facebook page.

Both MADACC and the Wisconsin Humane Society have low cost options for everyone to take advantage of.
