New Locations Open in Milwaukee for Absentee Voting

The city of Milwaukee now has three locations in operation where voters can cast absentee ballots.

CBS 58 went to the south side this morning and saw people filling their ballots at the forest home library.  City officials this year decided to add two early voting locations to the traditional downtown spot.

They hope to boost turnout by bringing polling places closer to voters,

The two new locations just opened yesterday.

If you want to vote early, you can go to the Zeidler building downtown.

That is right next to city hall.

Another location is at the Forest Home Library at 14th and Forest Home.

You can also vote early at the Midtown Center on 56th and Capitol.

The early voting period ends on November 5th.
