Police: 7-year-old Milwaukee boy shot near 23rd and Locust

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating after a 7-year-old Milwaukee boy was shot near 23rd and Locust Friday, April 3.

Officers arrived at the scene around 3:47 p.m. and found the child with a nonfatal gunshot wound. 

The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say the shooting appears to be related to an argument, and the 7-year-old was not the intended victim.
