MPD: 26-year-old man dies following shooting near 47th and Townsend

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old Milwaukee man is dead following a shooting that happened near 47th and Townsend on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Police say it happened just after 3 a.m., when shots were fired at the victim's residence.
The Milwaukee man sustained serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries Monday, Aug. 3.
Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects in connection.
