More Snow Wednesday
The freezer door has been left open by our neighbors to the north! Look at the plunge of unseasonably cold air that's sitting across the Midwest. Temperatures in Milwaukee are running close to 20 degrees below average, and we will plummet below zero tonight with the clear sky and snow pack.
There are some signs of warmer temperatures to our west. The trough that has brought us the arctic chill will gradually lift east after Wednesday; however, we will have another chance for some light snow before the upper levels winds subside.
A wave around 18,000 ft will move overhead on Wednesday. Again there's not a lot of moisture to work with, so a snow ratio closer to 20-1 could support up to a half an inch of snow. Snow chances will be possible between Noon and 6 pm. We don't anticipate many issues with the light snow or flurries.
