More rain chances add on to soggy May

After a gloomy Saturday a few more rounds of rain showers and some storms is on the way. Some picked up a little light rain Friday night and Saturday morning with most in southeast Wisconsin seeing less than a quarter inch. A second round arrives after 10 p.m. Saturday night and lingers off and on through Sunday morning.

With the second round most of southeast Wisconsin can expect less than 0.20" but more can be expected in thunderstorms.

A third round of rain is possible starting early Monday morning lingering through the afternoon. Some more steady rain is possible here with a few embedded thunderstorms.

The severe risk with any storms that do develop is very low, but some gusty wind or small hail may be possible.

With our current rainfall Milwaukee sits at the 15th wettest May on record with 12 days left. At this rate, a top 10 wettest May is almost certain.
