More rain arrives for the weekend

We've had a rather dry stretch compared to the rainy start to October!  Overall it's been a wet month with Milwaukee recording over 4 inches of rain.

There will be a slight chance for some showers on both Friday and Saturday across southeastern Wisconsin; however, right now it looks like Sunday will feature the best chance for more widespread showers.

Take a look at the graphic above.  This clipper system will move from Canada across the Midwest late Saturday into Sunday. While the majority of the precipitation will stay rain, there's a chance for a brief mix on the backside of the system late in the day on Sunday.

No accumulation is expected as cooler temperatures in the 40s arrive for early next week.  Rain on Sunday could impact some Trick or Treating depending upon when your community participates.
