MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee mother is worred for her son’s safety after she says he was bullied and beaten at school this week.
Eight-year-old Nay’Shaun Taylor is a student here at Lancaster School. His mother says bullies slammed him into a desk, hurting his eye and sending him to the hospital.
Chanaye Brown says she was devastated to learn her boy had been hurt in his classroom.
Nay’Shaun says on Tuesday, another student had tried to break his finger before slamming his head in a desk.
He’s been out of the classroom since as his mom looks for another school for him to attend.
It’s a frightening situation she hopes no other parent has to go through.
“I didn’t know how to deal with it. My hands were shaking. I was terrified that he had to go through this and I wasn’t no where,” says Chanaye Brown.
The Milwaukee Public School District released the following statement:
“We take this matter very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation. Pending the results of the full investigation, disciplinary action has been taken with the student that was the alleged aggressor.”
