Milwaukee Police to Help Homeless

Milwaukee Police are reaching out to the homeless community today, hoping to help ease the struggle. 

With the help of Roundy’s Corporation, the Milwaukee Police Outreach Team is distributing food, clothing, and other necessities to those in need. They know winter is especially challenging for those who are homeless. Members of the outreach team are specially trained to deal with the homeless community, specifically those who may have mental health issues or drug dependencies. 

A total of 100 Milwaukee Officers are participating in the event today.
