Milwaukee Police investigating homicide near 38th and Locust

UPDATE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say the victim of a deadly shooting near 39th and Locust Sunday night is a 38-year-old man.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time. Police are not releasing the man's name until family has been notified.

No one is in custody.

A homicide investigation is underway Sunday night after a shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. near 38th and Locust in Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood.

Milwaukee Police have not released many details. Milwaukee Fire Department says they responded to a shooting victim at this address.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner says they were called to this scene indicating a death has occurred.
