Milwaukee Police investigate string of early morning robberies

Milwaukee police are investigating a series of strong armed robberies this morning and believe they may be related.  The first robbery occurred around 2 a.m. in the 3100 block of North Oakland Avenue near the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.    The second was 30 minutes later in the 2400 block of West Hadley St.  A third robbery happened a few blocks away in the 1300 block of E Locust Street.   A fourth robbery was reported around 3 a.m. in the 1200 block of W. Greenfield.    Two more robberies occurred just minutes later in the 2600 block of West Hadley and 2500 block of North 4th Street.  Police say a long barreled weapon was used but one was injured in the robberies.   The police are looking for a White Nissan Sentra with three occupants.
