Milwaukee Named 4th Best Place to Live for March Madness Fans

Milwaukee cracked Redfin's top 10 best places to live list for March Madness fans ranking in at number four. Over 40 million Americans participate in brackets betting more than $2 billion dollars. To calculate the best places to live Redfin considered the number of NCAA tournament appearances, the number of NCAA games hosted, bars in the city, and the average price of a home.
Milwaukee's NCAA team for the 2017 season is the Marquette Golden Eagles. The Eagles have had 32 tournament appearances, three of them being in the Final Four. Milwaukee has hosted eight tournament games with 811 bars for fans to cheer them on from. The average price of a home is $108,000.
