Milwaukee Man Wins PowerBall

Two Wisconsin players are each holding a $50,000 winning Powerball ticket.  One ticket was sold in Milwaukee County and the other in Manitowoc County. 

Each winner matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball.   The Milwaukee County player has come forward, but the Lottery has not yet heard from the Manitowoc County winner.

Thomas Armstrong of Milwaukee has claimed a $50,000 Powerball ticket from the Wednesday, December 23 drawing.  Wednesday's winning numbers were 16, 38, 55, 63 and 67 with a Powerball of 25. The Power Play number was 4.  The winning ticket was sold at Jetz Convenience Center at 607 South 70th Street in Milwaukee.

The unclaimed $50,000 Powerball ticket from Manitowoc County was sold on Saturday, December 26 at Branch C Store at 8133 U.S. Highway 10 in Whitelaw.  Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were 27, 40, 44, 59 and 65 with a Powerball of 20. The Power Play number was 2.

Winners at all prize levels have 180 days from the drawing to claim their prizes.  Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive an incentive of 2% of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000. 

The next Powerball drawing will be held on Wednesday, December 30.  The jackpot is estimated at $300 million ($184.2 million cash).
