Milwaukee Man Completes 100 Mile Journey from Milwaukee to Chicago to End Violence

CBS 58 first introduced you to Tory Lowe on Tuesday as he started a 100 mile trek from Milwaukee's City Hall to Chicago's City Hall in an effort to end violence.

On Saturday he finished the walk posting on his Facebook page, \"Today I arrived at Chicago City Hall. Along the way I stopped and spoke to the residents. Many gave their solutions to the problem and we all had the same conclusion. Many said that we need all new leaders who will fight for jobs, better education, and invest back into our youth.\"

Lowe describes himself as an activist who has counseled nearly every homicide victim's family in Milwaukee.

Lowe was taking the journey to raise awareness for Milwaukee's mounting homicide number. He had planned on dedicating each mile to one of the victim's of violence Milwaukee has seen this year.

He added on his Facebook page, \"We need to restore the broken home structure and reshape how we look at our community when it come to loving our neighbors. Discipline starts at home.\"
