Milwaukee County Zoo gives update on baby gorilla, feeding her formula

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Zoo is giving an update on baby gorilla Zahra.

The Zoo says zookeepers are feeding her formula every two and a half hours. They are training her to move from her caregiver to a zookeeper for feedings. The Zoo says formula will be part of her diet until she's about five years old.

Zahra's parents, Cassius and Naku, both died in April.

The Zoo hopes another gorilla will eventually act as Zahra's surrogate mother.
