Miller Brewing to celebrate 160 year Anniversary

Miller Brewing Company is celebrating its 160th anniversary today.

To commemorate the milestone, the brewery is welcoming employees and community leaders to help fill a time capsule.

Miller memorabilia and messages from employees will be put in the capsule which will then be sealed not to be opened until the company's 200th anniversary in 2055.

The event is set for 11:30 this morning at the brewery on Highland Avenue.

Continuing the celebration, Miller High Life at Milwaukee area bars and restaurants will be a $1.60 on September 25.
