McDonald's at 76th and Good Hope evacuated after grease fire

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The McDonald's is still cleaning up from the incident and the Milwaukee Health Department has issued a close order.

The restaurant will not be allowed to re-open until necessary corrections are made and compliance verified by a re-inspection.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a grease fire at the McDonald’s Restaurant at 76th and Good Hope Sunday morning. According to MFD officials, the fire was confined to the exhaust ducts above the grill.

Everyone in the building was able to evacuate safety.

The Milwaukee Health Department is now conducting an examination of the restaurant facility.
