Marquette holds on for overtime win over Seton Hall

MILWAUKEE - Markus Howard had 22 points and Katin Reinhardt made four free throws in the final 29 seconds of overtime to help Marquette beat Seton Hall 89-86 on Wednesday night.

The Golden Eagles avenged a road loss to the Pirates from a week ago thanks to Howard and Haanif Cheatham, who scored 17 points and played 45 minutes. MU took a five point lead to the locker room at the half, but Khadeen Carrington hit the game tying shot with two seconds to play to force overtime.

Marquette hosts DePaul before traveling to Butler and Creighton for two very tough Big East road tests.
