Man wounded in late night shooting

A 27-year-old Milwaukee man is recovering this morning after being shot on Milwaukee’s northwest side late Thursday night.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the shooting occurred around 11 PM in a parking lot at W Silver Spring Drive and Lovers Lane.   The parking lot is used jointly by Jokerz Comedy Club and Silk Exotic Gentleman’s Club.  The motive behind the shooting is being investigated by the Milwaukee Police as they continue to search for a suspect.  The victim was first treated at the scene by the Milwaukee Fire Department and then taken to a local hospital.  He is expected to survive the wound.
