RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A man convicted of keeping a 9-year-old girl in a cage is sentenced.
Dale Deavers will receive a year of probation for his role in imprisoning the child.
The other suspect, Gail Lalonde, received three years' probation in August 2018.
Racine Police were able to arrest both of them when the girl told her teacher she was being kept in a cage at night.
Both Deavers and Lalonde said they put her in the cage as punishment.
