Man killed after car slams into tree

MILWAUKEE-- A man is dead after he lost control of vehicle and slammed into a tree.
It happened around 4:15 a.m. Sunday on 60th Street near Florist Ave.
The 35-year-old man was driving his 1998 Jeep northbound on 60th Street when he hit the tree.
Police said that speed was likely a contributing factor in the crash.
They are awaiting the ME's report to determine whether alcohol was also a factor.
