Man Arrested for DUI Sunday Morning after Drinking for Basketball Games

53-year-old Milwaukee man Conell Brown was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol at 9:30 AM Sunday morning for operating a motor vehicle under the influence - his 4th offense.

A State Trooper stopped Brown’s vehicle at 9:30 AM on West Frontage Road near 7 1/2 Mile Road in Racine County for an inoperative drivers side brake light. The Trooper detected an odor of an intoxicant coming from Brown. The suspect informed the Trooper he drank last night for the UW and Marquette Basketball Games.

Field sobriety tests were conducted and Brown was subsequently arrested for OWI 4th offense. Brown submitted to a blood test at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine and is being held in the Racine County Jail for felony Operating While Intoxicated and Operating after Revocation.
