Tyree sentenced 27 years for killing teen

MILWAUKEE -- Timothy Tyree, 20, was sentenced to 27 years in prison with 13 years of extended supervision in court Thursday.

Tyree killed Eddie Ellis, 16, near 81st and Villard almost exactly one year ago.

Tyree was involved in a fight on the night of January 4th. Ellis was passing by and was shot and killed by Tyree.

Tyree was convicted on a charge of first degree reckless homicide in October. He orginally faced up to 60 years in prison.
