WISCONSIN -- Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin plans to close four locations starting with their Shawno location. In a release, the non-profit claimed the closure of their centers are a direct result of budget cuts "directed at Planned Parenthood's patients".

Planned Parenthood CEO Teri Huyck says, "Governor's Walker's decision to turn away federal resources that would fill health coverage gaps in Wisconsin, couple with his budget proposal to end BadgerCare coverage for women making over $11,490 a year is a challenge to the future of women's health."

Planned Parenthood clinics in Beaver Dam, Johnson Creek and Chippewa Falls are also scheduled to close in 2013.
