Man rescued from Milwaukee River

Mequon -- Police and Fire/Resuce pulled a 50-year-old Cedarburg man from the Milwaukee River, south of Pioneer Rd, around 4:00pm  on Sunday. 

Police say they recieved a call that a man was in the water after his boat capsized. 

Officials say upon arrival they saw the man had taken hold of a tree branch in the middle of the river.

Police say the man was released after a medical evaluation.
