CEDARBURG -- Cedarburg police are investigating several possible sexual assaults taking place at the Family Tree Learning Center in the City of Cedarburg. Police say these alleged sexual assaults took place between an adolescent and young children who attended the day care.

Initially police received two complaints of sexual contact between the adolescent and young children, but now have several possible victims. The additional possible victims were identified after police held a meeting with parents on April 20th.

During that meeting, parents were taught what to watch for if they suspected their child was assaulted. Parents also met with case workers from the Ozaukee County Department of Human Services, and medical personnel from the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

The Cedarburg Police Department is investigating each report of abuse.

The Family Tree Learning Center was closed on April 19th by state regulators.
