My two seconds~ My daughter is part of this troop and I believe that it is completely unfair that someone like “Miss Stacy” has to go through this. As a parent of the troop I believe that this site has nothing to do with the kids and my child would never have access to it. But if they would ask or see it I would explain not block them or hold them from someone they enjoy…. Her personal life is none of our business but, yes I did know about it. She is an amazing person inside and out. You must not know Stacy or know the whole story to be saying the things you’re saying about her ability with the girls and the troop. She made that troop run she made that troop organized without her involved it wouldn’t be. She might have stepped down as head but she did main and full things for the troop each and every day from top to bottom don’t let anyone tell you different. She would breath GS 

alright, I for one am not afraid to post my name on here. I've already made it clear that I think the troop did the right thing. Bottom line, if some parent decided to sue because their child was exposed to this website, the Girl Scouts would be at fault. Have you not read the Girl Scouts Promise and the Girl Scout law? Heres a reminder. The Girl Scout Promise On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law. The Girl Scout Law I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout. as it says "responsible for what I say and do" therefore, Stacy is being held accountable for her actions. So The Girl Scouts are just backing what they say they're to do and what they teach. Get over it

Seriously, I find this VERY sad that a GREAT troop leader had to step down because of a few close minded parents out there in this narrow-minded town. I find it even more sad that the Girl Scouts found it necessary to the formally remove her from the organization. Additionally... yes, it is true, the Cannibelles do wear a few skimpy outfits and play with several props from tinsel to animal skulls, but as someone else pointed out above, you will most likely find more skin at a beach. HERE'S THE FINAL THOUGHT - This is NOT a sight aimed at children. Maybe the concerned parents should simply be concerned with MONITORING their OWN children and what they look at online, LIKE A GOOD PARENT WOULD. If you think Stacy would be going around parading like this in from of the children or even MENTION it around them, you are seriously delusional and obviously have never ACTUALLY spoken with her or for that matter LISTENED to her.

There was only one email that had the signature listing the website, she admitted it was a mistake and was not suppose to be on the Girl Scout email she sent out to parents

cdorow, As a parent of one of the girls, I may not donate my time in GS, but I do in other areas that I have experience. With that said, that has nothing to do with it. Stacy made the choice to volunteer her time as a leader, we did not force her in to it nor did we ask her too. In fact she stepped down as head leader at the beginning of the school year and that is the only reason my daughter and several other girls continued on the troop. Stacy though a kind person is not a good leader. Lastly, I find it interesting that now her husband is asking for money to keep his sight going….could this all have been a scheme to get money and publicity???

none of the parents have answered my original question. how many hours do you dedicate to the troop a week? I have been a registered girl scout since 1985 and a leader for eight of those, this year i have stepped down to a co-leader. you don't like the site don't look at it. Art is in the eye of the beholder. If scantly clad is offensive don't go to the beach, if blood and weapons are offensive don't watch TV. you might as well forget about disney!!

As another parent of a little girl in this GS troop I am in complete agreement with Parents View. In addition, when you take a position to volunteer with an organization such as the Girl Scouts, you become a ROLE MODEL and should embody the values of the organization. My expectation of a role model in this capacity is not one that would take pictures in scantily clad clothing, covered in blood, role playing in murderous scenes and publicizing them online. I would hate for my daughter to view her troop leader (role model) in pictures found on that site. For those of you defending this troop leader and her involvement with the website, I challenge you to view the site itself and tell others you are comfortable with what you find there. Can you honestly still argue the troop leader is a confident woman with respectable morals and values when involved with a website that is so degrading to women? Can you honestly still argue she should be a role model for impressionable young girls?

Here is my question? Is it ok for this troop leader to send emails to my home with a direct link to this website? Because if you say yes you are saying you think its ok for 5 and 8 year olds to view this site. Something this troop leader said is not ok. I did not ask to be exposed to this website or anything to do with that life style. I had it emailed to me from the Troop Leader. This is not about the Parents it should be about the girls who are 8 possibly be exposed to this Website, not should the parents.

I personally know this woman too and she is a very kind and generous woman. It is sad that most people are so closedminded that they have to complain about other's personal lives. It's ok for a gender confused boy to be in girl scouts but it's not ok for a person to have a personal life beyond GS. PS to Anonymous....You could have steped up too. It really is hard for a GS leader to do all the planning and work with out the help of the parents. Both my girls in GS have great leaders that encourage parents to help plan events and even take the kids if they are busy that weekend. No one to blame for your kids missing outings but yourself! Grow up people, it's not the 50's anymore!

As a parent of one of the girls on the troop, you all should no that she was not a standup leader. The girls missed out on many activities because she was unorganized. Her website is degrading to women and promotes violence. Half naked women covered in blood holding rusty weapons, that's innocent art. I do not think so.

What a sad out come. A woman who's obviously very dedicated to these girls is ripped away from them, and because of something she does on her personal time. Sounds like the website is misunderstood. I highly doubt these girls knew anything about the site or that her involvement in it affected her ability to lead these girls. The ones who get hurt in all this are the girls. While I will still buy cookies from the adorable girls to support them and them only, my recent interest in signing up my kindergartener will end. I don't want her involved with a group that teaches is ok to discriminate. Sad story. I hope the mother, her child and the children in her troop stay strong.
