MILWAUKEE-Summerfest celebrated July 4th with a nod to our country's military men and women.

A group of ten wounded warriors were invited backstage with the rock group Motley Crue.

Plus, ten active Marines based in Wisconsin got to meet the band members. They signed an etching of the famous Iwo Jima flag raising and presented it to lead singer Vince Neil and company.

The Wounded Warrior Project offers help in everything from recovering from combat stress to job placement.

Organizers of the Summerfest Event say sometimes the best road to healing is paved with two simple words; thank you.
