Teen shot in head while sitting on front porch
RACINE -- A 19-year-old woman died after being shot in the head while sitting on a front porch Tuesday.
It happened about 11:40 p.m. on Packard Ave. near 16th St. in Racine. The victim has been identified as Faith Harrison. She is a former Park High School student who was working on her G.E.D and was set to join the National Guard. She was taken to Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints and later transferred by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital where she later died. According to authorities Harrison was sitting on the front porch of the Racine home with several other people when gunshots were fired in their direction. There are no suspects in custody at this time. Harrison died at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. Racine Police want anyone with information to call 262-635-7700. |
