Woman hit by car on I-94 in Kenosha County dies from injuries
KENOSHA -- 24-year-old Loretta Pollack of Milwaukee died from injuries she sustained after being struck by a vehicle on I-94 in Kenosha County on June 7th. Pollack was hit while walking on I-94 near WIS-142 around 3:00 a.m.
Pollack suffered serious injuries and when police arrived a State Trooper and a Kenosha Deputy conducted CPR on the victim until Paris Fire Rescue arrived. She was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.
The accident caused all southbound lanes of I-94 at WIS-142 to shut down causing major traffic delays.
Pollack's car was located around 9:30 a.m. in the pond near Mars Cheese Castle. Kenosha County Sheriff's Dive Team responded to examine the submerged vehicle.
State Patrol is investigating what caused the accident.
