MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating after an overnight fatal shooting.

Police were called out to the 3400 block of Highland Ave early Sunday morning.

A 27-year-old female died after being shot.

There is no word if any suspects are in custody.

Milwaukee Police are releasing no other information at this time
