Woman attacked, sexually assaulted while jogging
MILWAUKEE---Milwaukee Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted while jogging on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at 8:20 a.m. in the 3100 block of Lincoln Memorial Drive. The woman was jogging on the Oak Leaf Trail when a man grabbed and fondled her. The man was riding a bicycle when he approached the woman. She was able to fight him off and he ran away. The man is described as a white male in his 30s about 6 feet tall. He had curly, shoulder-length blonde hair and jagged teeth. He was wearing a dark knit cap, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police believe this is an isolated incident that is not connected to any other incidents. Anyone with information is asked to call the Milwaukee Police Sensitive Crimes Division at 414-935-7405. |
