Wisconsin girl makes a wish, has it granted
by Jeff Stanich

Novalie Brown, an 8-year-old girl from Cross Plains, WI, had her wish to be a rock star granted by Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.

Brown is living with cystic fibrosis, which forces her to endure several hours of treatment each day.

After learning she was eligible, Brown made a wish to fulfill her passion for music and dream of being a rock star.

Tanner-Monagle, a Milwaukee-based music production company, paired with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin to help Brown to record an original song and film her own music video.

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin has granted nearly 5,000 wishes since 1984, and expects another 500 to be granted this year.

Brown was in the studio on Saturday, July 14th, to record her song and will shoot her music video next.
