STURTEVANT -- Nicole Brosky of West Allis is charged with two counts of second offense OWI with a minor child in the vehicle. According to the criminal complaint, police spotted Brosky while searching for a van that fled an accident earlier that night.

Police say when they pulled over Brosky, they found five children riding in the van with her. When asked about the damage to the vehicle, Brosky allegedly told officers she hit a car while attending to the "screaming" children.

The complaint says Brosky was pulled over, and gave a false name. Police eventually found out the name she was using belonged to a woman who recently ended her longtime friendship with Brosky.

Brosky is charged with Felony Personal Identity Theft, two counts of OWI, Obstructing an Officer and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. If convicted on all counts she faces up to nine and a half years in jail.
