WEST ALLIS -- Police are looking for two masked gunmen who they say shot a 25-year-old man at a gas station during an overnight robbery.

West Allis police say the two suspects entered the gas station at 60th and National at about 1:30 a.m. Monday. Police didn't say what the robbers got away with, but they left the clerk with a gunshot wound. The man is recovering at Froedtert Hospital.

The owner of the gas station told CBS 58 News that the clerk complied with the robbers' demands by handing over a cash register with about $200, but one of the men shot the clerk afterwards.

One suspect is described as being an African-American male, medium height and build, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with white dots, gray pants, white shoes and a white mask.

A second suspect is described as being an African-American male, medium build and height wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes and wearing a white mask.

Anyone with information should call the West Allis Police Department at (414) 302-8000.
