PEWAUKEE -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department responded to Jerico and Springdale in Pewaukee, and became engaged in a standoff situation around 11:30 a.m. The standoff peacefully ended around 2:10 p.m. with the arrest of a 48-year-old Brookfield man.

The sheriff's department says they arrived at a Pewaukee business to arrest the Brookfield man on an arrest warrant. He locked himself inside the business, and refused to exit.

Law enforcement had information that the 48-year-old man may have had access to weapons. He eventually voluntarily surrendered without incident.
