Violent night in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE-- Milwaukee Police are investigating after five people are injured in four seperate overnight crimes.

Officers were called out to the 2600 block of N. 34th Street around 8:50 p.m. Saturday.

A 26-year-old man was shot twice in the chest.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment where he is currently in serious condition.

Police are still searching for suspects as well as a motive in this incident.

Around 10:00 p.m. officers responded to the 4700 block of N. 30th Street for a domestic dispute.

A 40-year-old man was stabbed several times.

He is currently in critical condition in a local hospital.

There is a suspect in custody.

In another case a juvenile male walked into a local hospital after being shot in his left thigh.

Police believe the shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. in the alley of the 2100 block of W. Burnham.

The investigation continues for the circumstances surrounding the shooting and for suspects.

Police responded to the 2000 block of N. 35th Street around 12:20 a.m.

After an argument on the sidewalk shots were fired.

A 37-year-old women was struck in the buttocks.

She was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

In the same incident a 28-year-old man was grazed in his left foot.

He declined medical treatment at the scene.

Police are investigating to determine the identity of the suspect.
