Vets can adopt discounted pets this weekend

MILWAUKEE---The Wisconsin Humane Society is offering adoption discounts to veterans and members of the armed forces this Veteran's Day weekend.

"Operation Troops & Tails" allows servicemen and women to adopt animals for just $25 Friday through Sunday.

The Humane Society will continue to offer a 25% discount off all adoption fees to military personnel after the weekend.

All veteran adopters must show valid military I.D. or proof of military service bearing their name in order to receive the discount.
