Vehicle fire at the airport

MILWAUKEE --- A vehicle fire caused a scare at Mitchell International Airport Saturday afternoon.

It started around 2:00 p.m. near Gate D4. A spokesperson for the airport says fire crews were able to put the fire out quickly. They stayed on scene for a short time to clear up the wreckage.

There's no word on what caused the car to go up in flames. No flights were affected by the fire.
