Two women injured in seperate late night shootings
MILWAUKEE—Milwaukee Police are investigating two shootings that occurred late Saturday.
A 16-year-old girl was injured during a shooting around 9:00 p.m. in the 7900 block of W. Leon Terrace. A bullet struck her in her armpit area, but she is expected to be ok. Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but are seeking two black male suspects who may be in their late teens to early twenties who were wearing all black clothing. A short time later, a 22-year-old woman was injured in a second shooting around 10:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of W. Wright St. The woman sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Police believe that robbery may be the motive of the shooting. They are seeking two black male suspects who may be in their late teens and wearing black clothing. |
