Two people suffer life threatening injuries in crash with suspected drunk driver
ROCK COUNTY—Two people suffered life threatening injuries after a suspected drunk driver causes a crash on Highway 14 in Rock County.
Officials were called out to the two vehicle crash on Highway 14 just west of County Highway C in Bradford Township around 8:45 p.m. Saturday.
A white Buick Regal being driven by Scott Moe of Janesville was heading westbound on Highway 14 when it veered into the eastbound lane and struck a gray Toyota Corolla head on.
Both drivers and the passenger in the Toyota were all pinned in the vehicles.
They were extricated and taken to the hospital.
The two people in Toyota were identified as William and Michelle Solger of Twin Lakes.
They were listed in stable condition, but as having possible life threatening injuries.
Moe was listed as having minor injuries.
Authorities determined that alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash and Moe was arrested for causing great bodily harm by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
He was also cited for his first OWI and for operating left on the centerline.
