Two people injured in highway crash

WAUWATOSA --- A man and woman were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after they were in a rollover accident.

It happened just after 4:00 p.m. on US-45 southbound at North Ave. A single vehicle rolled over and struck two other vehicles.

When emergency crews arrived the rollover vehicle was on its' roof. The two occupants got out on their own before emergency crews got to the scene. However, they were transported to the hospital for neck and back injuries.

There were no injuries reported in either of the other two cars that were hit.

Both of the occupants of the rollover car are expected to be ok.

The Sheriff's Office is still investigating what caused the crash.
