Two people arrested after fight breaks out at Mexican Rodeo
RACINE COUNTY—Two people were arrested after a fight broke out at the Mexican Rodeo at the Racine County Fair Grounds.
The Racine County Dispatch center received a 911 call around 8:40 p.m. Saturday about the large fight.
The caller stated that there were about 25 private security guards and that they could hear security yelling for people to stop resisting.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Office along with four assisting agencies responded to the incident.
Upon arrival law enforcement found that the fighting had stopped.
But there were hundreds of patrons and many of them were agitated. The presence of law enforcement helped to restore order.
Preliminary investigations found that the security staff was breaking up a fight and escorting people involved ff the property when some patrons interfered and assaulted the security staff.
Two people were arrested as a result of that incident.
While law enforcement was on the grounds another argument/fight broke out between about four to six patrons.
They were escorted off the grounds and told to leave without incident.
