DODGE COUNTY—Two people were seriously injured after a late night crash in Dodge County.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department was called out to Highway 73 and Hyland Road in the Town of Westford shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday.

A Toyota SUV being driven by 34-year-old Richard Sadoski spun off the roadway and overturned.

A short time later a Chrysler being driven by 55-year-old Timothy Rentmeester slid off the roadway and hit the SUV.

Rentmeester and his wife, 53-year-old Margaret Rentmeester, were not injured in the crash.

Sadowski and his passenger 23-year-old Nicole Schlavensky had to be transported to UW Hospital in Madison via Flight for Life.

Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the initial crash.
