Two injured in seperate overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE-- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two overnight shootings.

Police were called out to the 3900 block of West Villard around 12:20 a.m. Saturday after a male in his late 20's was shot in the calf.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and it was later dermined that his injury was self-inflicted. The man is expected to be fine.

Around 2:45 a.m. a male in his late teens was shot in the 800 block of S. 6th Street.

He suffered a wound to his stomach and was taken to a local hospital. He is expected to survive his injuries.

There is no word if any suspects are in custody for that shooting.
