MILWAUKEE -- A Menomonee Falls man and an Oak Creek man are both charged with trafficking of a child after allegedly forcing a 17-year-old girl into prostitution. The two held the girl at a residence, and drove her to multiple residences so she could have sex for their financial benefit.

According to the criminal complaint, 20-year-old Julian Woodruff of Oak Creek and 19-year-old Marcus Smith-Reaves of Menomonee Falls held a girl in a Milwaukee home in mid February. The complaint says Smith-Reaves told the 17-year-old that she would stay at the residence or he'd kill her. He allegedly told her he'd kill her if she didn't engage in sexual acts, and give him all the money.

The complaint talks about one incident where the 17-year-old girl was transported to a residence so she could have sex with men for money. The girl was driven to an apartment near N. 84th St. and Mill Rd. to have sex with a man for $100. The girl told police she collected the $100, but did not have sex with the man she met at this apartment.

The 17-year-old told police she did have sex with Woodruff, but didn't get paid for it. Smith-Reaves was not upset with the girl for having sex with his partner, but for not collecting money. He beat the girl with a metal curtain rod for having sex and not collecting money.

Woodruff and Smith-Reaves drove the girl to another location where she had sex with Smith-Reaves. After this the two left the residence, and came back with suspicions that the 17-year-old called the police on them. Woodruff allegedly pointed a gun at the girl and told her she "ain't going nowhere." The two proceeded to rip clothes off the girl, and made her get into a bathtub with cold water. They held the girl's head underwater, and threatened to drown her.

Police say Woodruff admitted to investigators he did force the girl into acts of prostitution. He also told police his partner, Smith-Reaves, would get all the money, who would later give him his cut.
