Turkey causes power outage in Sheboygan Co.
SHEBOYGAN COUNTY—Over a thousand people were without power in Sheboygan County after a turkey flew into a power line.
We Energies said that the outage was reported just after 8:00 a.m. Friday. The turkey flew into a power line and knocked it down causing about 1,500 people to lose power. It is believed that the knocked down power line was pushed into a second power line. Power was restored to most customers within an hour. A handful of customers were without power for an additional 30 minutes. |
