MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police arrested two burglary suspects caught stealing from residents of Evergreen Trailer Court who are being evicted by the City of Milwaukee.

One woman tells CBS 58 she caught thieves rummaging through her mobile home. Police have yet to release particulars in this case.

Several residents of this trailer park are being forced to move after the City of Milwaukee determined their homes are unsafe or uninhabitable. Reasons for evictions include defective electrical lines, heating, and plumbing systems.

The City of Milwaukee seized the property after the owner of Evergreen Trailer Court could not pay taxes. The city says the owner owed more than $300,000 in property taxes before giving up the property.

Residents we spoke to say they're still hoping to organize in an effort to combat the eviction process set in motion by the city,
