MILWAUKEE -- A car struck three women standing in a bus shelter at 27th St. and W. Hope Ave. around 11:20 a.m. The Milwaukee Fire Department says three people including the driver of the car were taken to local hospitals.

The 37-year-old driver of the 1998 Buick LeSabre had a medical emergency while driving, just before swerving and hitting three people at a bus stop.

All three women hit by the car have sustained non-life threatening injuries. They are being taken to Freodtert Hospital as a precaution.

The driver was arrested for having a revoked driver's license.
