Suspects in custody after Racine bank robbery

RACINE—Two men are in police custody after allegedly robbing a bank at gunpoint.

Racine police were called to the TCF Bank on Douglass Ave around 2:45 p.m. Monday.

Two suspects had fled the scene with cash after robbing the bank.

But an officer noticed two men matching the suspects’ description driving several blocks away.

A pursuit began and the men fled on foot.

Police eventually caught up with the men and took them into custody.

The stolen money was recovered.
